- Under the overall guidance of the Head of Sub Office in Maiduguri, the general supervision of the DTM Coordinator & the direct supervision of the Information Management Officer, the successful candidate will be accountable & responsible, including but not limited to, for the production & dissemination of information on the displacement’s activities, data sharing & support within Nigeria.
Role objectives
- Support the Program Officer in preparing regular DTM reports & other qualitative / quantitative reports, maps, infographics, etc.
- Provide support to the Enumerators regarding the DTM data collection process.
- Maintain data confidentiality as per our clients data protection guidelines while strengthening collaboration between departments & projects.
- Assist in filing systems improvement & data entry when necessary.
- Assisting with workshops & training.
- Perform other duties as they might be assigned.
Project reporting

Key competencies
- Diploma or degree in ICT, computer science, statistics, database, business administration or any related field with a minimum two years of experience in a related field such as public information, administration, logistics or project administration is preferred.
- Previous work experience with an international organization or NGOs dealing with refugees would be a strong advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office & internet applications, MS Outlook, Access & Adobe Creative Suite.
- Advanced knowledge of mobile data collection, especially ODK & KOBO.
- Experience in using software programs such as Excel, STATA, SPSS & SAS for data analysis.
- Basic knowledge of GIS tools & relational databases (e.g., SQL Server Spatial).
- Fluency in English (oral & written) required & working knowledge of any local language.
