Job Title: Business Development Consultant
Activities
- Identify and target potential clients in the construction industry through research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase the company’s market share.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, results, and forecasts to senior management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform business strategy.
- Achieve set sales and business development targets within the contract period.
Candidate Profile
- Interested candidates should possess an HND or BSc in relevant fields with 2 – 6 years work experience.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, products, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain full availability throughout the 3-month contract period.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and objectives.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Availability during working hours throughout the duration of employment is required.
