Job Title: Director General, Media & Communication
Candidate Profile
- Master’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- At least 20 years of experience in media and corporate communications, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Professional certification in communications or public relations (e.g. APR, CCEP) Knowledge of digital communications and social media platforms
- Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools
- Strong network of media contacts and industry partners
- Experience in managing budgets and resources.
