Job Title: Purchaser

Activities

• Identify and source potential suppliers for goods and services.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals.
• Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.
• Monitor and control purchasing costs to ensure profitability.
• Work with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels of purchased items.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should possess a BSc / HND in a relevant field from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of supply chain management.
• Proficiency in purchasing software and tools.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and achieve favorable terms.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ability to identify and control costs.
• Ability to resolve purchasing issues efficiently.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
