Job Title: Account Officer
Activities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding account balances, invoices, and payments.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of customer transactions.
- Assess credit worthiness of new customers.
- Monitor customer credit limits and collections.
- Take appropriate actions to recover overdue payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, changes, and disputes.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer data in the accounting system.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- Candidates should possess a BSc or HND in Accounting from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or customer service role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
