Job Title: Sectional Head (Cement Mill) – Production Department

Activities

Oversee the entire production process in the Cement Mill to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
Monitor and control the mill’s operational parameters for optimal performance.
Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.
Manage the kiln feed quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
Lead and train production staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
Prepare reports on production performance and submit to management for review.
Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
Minimum of ten years (10) years of experience in cement production, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of cement production processes and operation of cement mills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in production management software and tools.
Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions swiftly.
