Job Summary

We are seeking diligent and customer-oriented Loan Collection Agents to manage the collection of overdue payments while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve payment issues effectively and uphold the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

Contact Borrowers: Reach out to clients via phone, email, or in-person visits to discuss overdue payments.
Negotiate Payment Solutions: Develop repayment plans or suggest alternative solutions to help clients settle their debts.
Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, payment agreements, and follow-up actions in the company database.
Monitor Accounts: Track overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-up on payment commitments.
Legal Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations regarding debt collection practices.
Customer Service: Provide clients with clear explanations of their account status and offer guidance to avoid future defaults.
Reporting: Submit regular updates to management on collection progress and account statuses.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as loan officers and legal teams, to resolve complex cases.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in debt collection, sales, or customer service.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
Proficient in using CRM systems and other collection tools.
