Job Title: Cook
Job Description
- Our client is seeking a professional Cook to prepare nutritious and delicious meals, ensuring high culinary standards and satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and experience in diverse cuisines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all food and kitchen supplies.
- Plan and manage weekly meal schedules and ingredient lists.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service.
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants (if applicable).
- Prepare meals for special occasions and events as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience as a cook in a professional setting, such as a restaurant or catering service.
- Knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to dietary preferences.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Creativity and the ability to design appealing meal presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
