Job Title: SCOPE Assistant
Job Description
- Coordinate the registration of beneficiaries into the Scope platform
- To be committed to and to promote TCDI’s safeguarding principles of the people and communities we are working for, and TCDI staff and partners
- Promote a positive profile of the programme and a good understanding in the communities of the Scope registration
- Supervise the Scope Registration Team and provide appropriate guidance and oversight as they conduct daily field activities
- Plan and follow the activities of the Scope such as voluntary returnees’ registration and distribution of Scope cards during enrolment for GFD / BSFP
- Facilitate the training of Scope project staff on the Scope online / offline system focusing on efficient planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring
- Prepare and submit all Scope project internal and external reports
- Draft scope budget including spending plans, procurement plans, and work plans based on activities and approved budgets
- Receive and inspect all incoming assets for CBT and report discrepancies to senior colleagues and partner units
- Perform basic beta testing and support the rollout of new versions of centrally supported systems to ensure the software is operational from WFP
- Ensure information is up to date and accurate within inventories, beneficiaries’ databases, websites, and archives to support other project officers in their reporting systems
- Follow set emergency response processes and procedures as required to provide support in enabling emergency food assistance needs to be met
- Support the capacity building of staff aimed at developing staff skills/knowledge
- Receive lists of potential mobile money beneficiaries, review, compare and validate them
- To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
- Regularly reporting and coordinating with the SCOPE focal person at WFP
- Refer cases of Nutrition needs once identified by field visits
- Perform any other work as may be required by TCDI.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
