Job Title: Excavator Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Excavator Mechanic with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of excavators and other heavy equipment.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform quality work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on excavators and related heavy equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
Maintain detailed records of services performed, repairs, and parts used.
Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete complex repairs.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Operate and test equipment as needed to confirm repairs.
Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced mechanics.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess an HND / BSc qualification
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic specializing in excavators or heavy equipment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification) are a plus.
