Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights tmanagement for decision-making.

General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Tax Preparation and Filing:

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Payroll Management:

• Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment temployees.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Financial Systems and Software:

• Utilize accounting software and tools tmanage financial data.
• Implement and improve financial processes and systems.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention tdetail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
