Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our expansion into the corporate cleaning sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing corporate clients, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.
- This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and a proven ability to close deals.
Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to penetrate the corporate cleaning market in Lagos.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate offices, commercial buildings, and facilities management companies.
- Create customized proposals and presentations to meet the specific needs of corporate clients.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, procurement officers, and other key decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings to understand their cleaning needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term business relationships.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to refine strategies and identify gaps in the market.
- Monitor industry developments and adjust business strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with Operations Team:

- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve service quality and address any operational challenges.
Sales & Reporting:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for corporate cleaning services.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, client feedback, and progress against targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in cleaning services, facilities management, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing corporate clients.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
