Job Title: Head of Brands and Communication

Position Overview

  • The Head of Brands and Communication will lead the development and execution of comprehensive brand and communication strategies to enhance the company’s reputation, increase brand awareness, and support business objectives.
  • This role requires a strategic and innovative professional with a deep understanding of the asset management industry.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement brand strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of corporate branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, media coverage, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Corporate Communications:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand communication strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels.
  • Create compelling written and visual content for various communication materials, such as newsletters, internal announcements, -presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Manage crisis communication strategies and respond promptly to any issues or reputational risks.

Media and Public Relations:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and enhance brand visibility, including drafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and coordinating interviews with company executives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at events, organizing and overseeing company events, conferences, and speaking engagements to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

  • Manage the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media accounts, and email campaigns, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment between brand messaging and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5 – 8 years of experience in brand management and corporate communications within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, messaging, and positioning strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing crisis communication and media relations.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate inbound leads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience with content creation, graphic design, or multimedia production.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital analytics tools.
