Job Title: Facility Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with cooking appliances, refrigeration units, and other kitchen machinery.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled servicing to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment life.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen adheres to food safety, fire safety, and workplace health regulations.
- Emergency Response: Quickly address urgent repairs, power failures, and equipment malfunctions.
- Waste Management: Assist in maintaining proper sanitation and waste disposal procedures.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.
- Utility Monitoring: Support energy and water efficiency initiatives by optimizing usage.
Requirements
- HND, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
- Experience: 2+ years in facility maintenance, technical support, or a related field (preferably in foodservice, hospitality, or manufacturing).
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and hands-on repair skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Technology: Ability to use maintenance tracking software and diagnostic tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, climb, and work in various physical conditions.
Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
