Job Title: Gateway NOC Engineer
Job Summary
- Our client is seeking for an experienced Gateway NOC Engineer that will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and running the NOC for the carrier services.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analysis of international traffic in and out of the network.
- Routing configuration for international traffic.
- Troubleshooting escalations from partners and raising trouble tickets as the need raises.
- Interconnection with local and international carriers.
- Routine CLI and quality tests to top destination.
- Monitoring of international trunks.
Key Performance Indicators and Deliverables
- Troubleshooting on issues discovery and resolution.
- Timely escalation of issues.
- Routing of carriers correctly.
Education, Qualification and Experience
- 7 – 10 years of experience in the telecommunication with a carrier or and operator.
Skills and Competencies:
- Technical knowhow and understanding of the telecom business.
- Ability to work independently.
- Technical management qualifications.
- Ability to work during night hours.
