Job Title: Social Media Manager
Role Overview
- We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to grow PicckR’s online presence, engage users, attract business partners, and enhance brand awareness across social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- This role involves content creation, community engagement, paid advertising, business outreach, email marketing, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and highly proactive, with experience in content creation, video production, and social media analytics.
- This is a hybrid role, requiring both remote work and in-person meetings or activations.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Content Creation:
- Develop and execute a content strategy for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create and publish engaging posts, videos, reels, stories, and YouTube content that reflect PicckR’s brand identity.
- Monitor social media trends and implement innovative content ideas.
- Manage a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule.
- Utilize SEO best practices for social media and YouTube to maximize reach.
YouTube Content Strategy & Management:
- Plan, script, and produce short-form and long-form video content for YouTube.
- Edit and optimize videos for SEO, thumbnails, and engagement.
- Drive subscriptions and watch time growth by creating high-quality, valuable content.
- Monitor YouTube analytics and adjust strategies to increase audience retention.
Community Engagement & Growth:
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Build relationships with influencers, customers, and businesses to increase brand loyalty.
- Monitor brand mentions and participate in relevant industry conversations.
- Launch and manage user-generated content campaigns.
Paid Advertising & Performance Tracking:
- Plan, execute, and optimize social media and YouTube ads to drive engagement, sign-ups, and conversions.
- Track ad performance and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve ROI on paid campaigns.
Business Outreach & Partnerships:
- Identify and reach out to potential business partners via social media.
- Develop strategic collaborations with influencers, brands, and key stakeholders.
- Work with the sales team to convert social media leads into business clients.
Email Marketing & Campaigns:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Segment email lists to send personalized content that resonates with different audiences.
- Track email open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor social media and YouTube performance metrics and generate reports with insights.
- Use data to improve content strategies, audience engagement, and ad performance.
- Regularly update leadership on key trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Social Media Growth & Engagement:
- Follower Growth: Increase followers by 10% month-over-month across platforms.
- Engagement Rate: Maintain an average engagement rate of 5%+ per post.
- Response Time: Reply to comments and DMs within 1 hour during business hours.
- Hashtag Performance: Ensure posts rank within the top 10 hashtags used.
YouTube Performance Metrics:
- Subscriber Growth: Increase YouTube subscribers by 10% month-over-month.
- Average Watch Time: Maintain an average watch time of 3+ minutes per video.
- Video Views: Ensure at least 5,000 views per video within the first 30 days.
- Click-Through Rate (CTR): Maintain 4%+ CTR on video thumbnails.
Content Performance:
- Post Reach: Ensure at least 30% of followers see each post.
- User-Generated Content (UGC) Rate: At least 10% of posts feature user content.
- Video Completion Rate: Ensure at least 50% of viewers watch videos to the end.
Paid Advertising & ROI:
- Ad Click-Through Rate (CTR): Maintain a 3%+ CTR on social media ads.
- Conversion Rate: Achieve at least 10% of ad clicks leading to sign-ups or sales.
- Cost Per Lead (CPL): Keep cost per lead below industry benchmarks.
Business Outreach & Lead Generation:
- Leads Generated: Reach out to at least 50 businesses per month via social media.
- Partnership Conversions: Convert at least 10% of social leads into partnerships.
- Email Open Rate: Achieve at least 25% open rate on Mailchimp campaigns.
Email Marketing Performance:
- Click-Through Rate (CTR): Maintain at least a 5% CTR on email campaigns.
- Unsubscribe Rate: Keep email unsubscribes below 2% per campaign.
- Customer Reactivation Rate: Convert at least 10% of inactive users through targeted email campaigns.
Brand Awareness & Market Positioning:
- Brand Mentions: Track at least 100+ organic brand mentions per month.
- Influencer Collaborations: Secure at least 2 influencer collaborations per quarter.
- Press & Media Features: Secure at least one media or blog feature per month.

- Creative Thinking: Develop fresh, engaging content that resonates with our audience.
- Data-Driven Approach: Use analytics to guide content, ad, and outreach strategies.
- Proactive Engagement: Actively interact with followers, influencers, and business prospects.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Content Creation: Strong skills in writing, graphic design, and video editing (Canva, Adobe, CapCut).
- Social Media Ads: Experience in running Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok ads.
- YouTube SEO & Strategy: Strong understanding of YouTube content optimization and video growth strategies.
- Email Marketing: Proficiency in Mailchimp or other email marketing tools.
- Analytics & SEO: Familiarity with Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, and SEO principles.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in logistics, ride-sharing, or delivery platforms is a plus.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
