Job Title: Front Desk Officer
Job Purpose
- As the Front Desk Officer at Adia Hospital, you will be crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and visitors.
- You will manage the front desk operations, handle inquiries, and provide administrative support to various departments.
- Your role is vital in maintaining the smooth flow of our hospital’s daily activities and upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable.
- Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic time.
- Handle patient registrations, ensuring accurate entry of patient information.
- Respond to patient and visitor inquiries, addressing concerns and providing information about hospital services.
- Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to facilitate smooth patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulations.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
