Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary

• The role holder will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
• The Human Resources Manager will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to drive employee engagement, development, and retention.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives
• Act as a liaison between management and employees by addressing grievances and resolving issues
• Collaborate with department managers to forecast and plan for future hiring needs
• Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring alignment with organisational needs
• Support business growth by developing, engaging, motivating, and retaining human capital
• Maintain the organisational structure by updating job requirements and descriptions
• Identify training needs and provide executive coaching as needed
• Improve talent management processes for operational efficiency and consistency
• Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Manage compensation and benefits programs
• Provide HR metrics and decision support to management
• Ensure compliance of Human Resources practices with Employment and Labour Laws

Person Specification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar role
• Membership in at least one relevant professional body is required e.g. CIPM.

Salary
N4,200,000 Annually (Negotiable).
