Job Title: Experienced Human Resources Manager (Female)
Job Description
- A Human Resource (HR) professional isresponsible for managing all aspects of employee lifecycle within a company, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with employment laws, aiming to maintain a positive work environment and support the company’s strategic goals by attracting and retaining top talent.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of an HR professional may include:
- Recruitment and Selection: Posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, evaluating applicants, and making hiring decisions.
- Onboarding and Training: Developing and implementing new employee orientation programs, providing training opportunities to upskill employees, and facilitating career development.
- Performance Management: Setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback to employees, and addressing performance issues.
- Employee Relations: Managing employee concerns, addressing conflicts, investigating complaints, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administering employee benefits plans, managing payroll, ensuring compliance with compensation regulations.
- Compliance Management: Staying updated on employment laws, ensuring adherence to regulations related to hiring, termination, discrimination, and workplace safety.
- Policy Development: Creating and updating company policies related to employee conduct, leave management, and disciplinary actions.
- Talent Development: Identifying high-potential employees, providing career development opportunities, and succession planning.
- Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Implementing strategies to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Depending on the company size and structure, an HR professional may specialize in specific areas like:
- Recruitment Specialist: Focuses on sourcing and screening potential candidates for open positions.
- Training and Development Specialist: Designs and delivers training programs for employees.
- Employee Relations Manager: Handles employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Benefits Administrator:Manages employee benefit plans and enrollment processes.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
