Job Title: Deputy Registrar
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic administrator to fill the position of Deputy Registrar.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for heading the registry department, providing administrative support to the Rector and Governing Council, and performing other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Head the registry department and serve as custodian of polytechnic documents
- Act as secretary to the council, academic board, and standing committees
- Oversee day-to-day administration and perform duties assigned by the Rector or Governing Council
- Provide administrative support to the Rector and other senior management staff
- Coordinate and manage the activities of the registry department
- Ensure the efficient and effective management of the polytechnic’s records and documents.
Requirements
- First Degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper Division, Master’s degree is preferred
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption
- Credits in five subjects, including English and Mathematics at SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L
- 12 – 17 years of relevant post-NYSC experience, with 3 years in a semi-management position (Principal Assistant Registrar)in a polytechnic or similar institution.
- Membership in a relevant professional body, such as NIM, NIPM, CIPM, or ANUPA.
