Job Title: Driver
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with local traffic regulations
- Ensure that company vehicle is always fuelled, at serviceable stage and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as professionally needed
- Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company personnel, goods, and materials etc.
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance and reporting any issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of company vehicles.
- Ensure that all required vehicle documents, such as licenses, insurance, and registration, are up to date and valid.
- Follow company policies and guidelines on vehicle use and code of conduct.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a minimum of an OND certificate in any discipline is required.
- Minimum of 10 years proven experience as driver is required
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance protocols
- GPS and navigation system proficiency
- Must have knowledge of local traffic regulations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Good physical condition and endurance for long hours on the road
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Strong defensive driving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to professional conduct and ethical behaviour.
