Job Title: Data Base Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the scalability and performance of existing database architecture.
- Develop database structures and features according to organizational needs.
- Protect data by developing backup and restoration policies, procedures, and controls.
- Performing database maintenance, migration, and upgrading software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related discipline.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science would be added advantage.
Experience, Attributes & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 15 year’s experience in database administration.
- Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB and Postgres.
- Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or JDBC.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and normalization.
- Experience with backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery technologies.
