Job Title: Civil Supervisor – T & D

Job Summary

• The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all civil construction activities in oil and gas projects on site to ensure that all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• This role involves managing teams, liaising with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee civil works on-site, including foundations, structural installations, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards.
• Monitor daily construction activities and ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve technical issues and maintain progress.
• Inspect construction work and materials to ensure adherence to engineering designs and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, site logs, and documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety protocols to foster a safe working environment.
• Manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve project efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines or budgets.
• Communicate effectively with project management teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years and above relevant experience in civil construction, ideally in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with construction safety and environmental policies.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera).
