Job Description

• We are seeking experienced and creative Illustrators to join our content development team. As an Illustrator, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our educational content. 
• You will use a blend of AI tools and manual illustration techniques to produce high-quality illustrations that bring ideas to life. 
• This is a highly creative, hands-on role ideal for a self-starter with a strong design sense and a passion for innovation.
• In this role, your primary work tools will be AI tools, you must have an open mind, a willingness to experiment, and a deep curiosity about how technology can enhance creativity.

Responsibilities

• Create high – quality illustrations for videos, learning materials, and digital products.
• Efficiently use AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT Image, etc.) to speed up and elevate the design process.
• Use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for detailed assets when required.
• Collaborate closely with animators, instructional design team, and other relevant stakeholders to deliver visually consistent and engaging content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to concept development.
• Solve design challenges with creativity and efficiency.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for assets and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an illustrator or digital artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent use of AI design tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT image generation.
• Strong visual storytelling and design thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and open to feedback and collaboration.
• Must be based in Lagos; this is an on-site role.
• Experience creating illustrations for educational or explainer content.
• Familiarity with animation pipelines or basic motion graphics knowledge.
• Interest in using new creative tools, platforms, and workflows.
