Job Title: Chinese Cook

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation and Cooking: Preparing and cooking a wide range of Chinese dishes, including wok-based dishes, noodles, rice dishes, and dim sum.
• Quality Control: Ensuring food quality, freshness, and adherence to recipes and standards.
• Menu Development: Assisting in planning and developing menus, and creating new dishes.
• Food Safety: Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Inventory Control: Managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage.
• Teamwork: Coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff.
• Kitchen Management: Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Training and Supervision: (For higher-level roles) Training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 – 4 years of work experience.
