Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on engines (diesel, gasoline, LPG, and electric) and related mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Expertly dismantle, inspect, repair, and overhaul forklift engines and their components, including but not limited to pistons, cylinders, crankshafts, camshafts, valves, fuel injection systems, turbochargers, and cooling systems.
• Apply engineering principles to identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement effective and lasting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, starters, alternators, and control systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and system adjustments, according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanic engineering, engine repair and overhaul.
• Demonstrable expert-level proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of engine types and manufacturers.
• Exceptional ability to dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical systems with precision and accuracy, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems relevant to forklifts.
