Job Title: Recruitment Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Manager to lead the recruitment operations at our new Lekki office.
- The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of verifiable experience in the oil and gas sector with a deep understanding of outsourcing, labor supply, contract, and permanent recruitment.
- This role requires a strong leader who can drive recruitment efforts, ensure industry compliance, oversee training activities, and manage client relationships. Candidates must reside in the Ajah-Lekki axis of Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and supervise the recruitment team, ensuring top performance and accountability.
- Report directly to the CEO on departmental performance and strategy.
Recruitment & Client Engagement:
- Draft and advertise job descriptions on various platforms.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: shortlisting, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Actively engage with current and potential clients to drive business growth.
- Prepare and respond to ITTs, RFQs, and EOIs for training and recruitment tenders.
Training & Licensing Oversight:
- Oversee training, testing, and licensing of heavy-duty drivers and technical staff.
- Manage the operations of confined space and industrial training simulators.
- Ensure all candidates meet national and international certification standards (NEBOSH, IOSH, City & Guilds, etc.).
Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge:
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws including ITF, NSITF, pensions, and NUPRC/DPR permits.
- Uphold Nigerian Content Development (NCDMB) requirements in all recruitment operations.
- Maintain a valid recruiter’s permit from the Federal Ministry of Labor.
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with clients to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee HSE compliance, medical testing, and equipment-based assessments.
- Maintain high professional and ethical recruitment standards.
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of verifiable recruitment experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, recruiter’s permits, and local content regulations.
- Proven track record in labor supply, outsourcing, and full-cycle recruitment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and report effectively to senior management.
- Must reside in the Ajah–Lekki axis of Lagos State.
