Job Title: Cashier
Job Description
- We are seeking friendly and intelligent customer service stars who are versed in the art of delighting patrons and creating a palpably pleasant customer experience.
- The ideal candidate will be credible, patient, and able to work under pressure and handle a variety of situations quickly and precisely.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, answering questions, assisting with returns and exchanges, and resolving customer complaints;
- Accurately processing customer transactions, handling payments (cash, credit, debit), and issuing receipts;
- Balancing cash (drawers), counting money, and reconciling transactions.
- Maintain a clean checkout area.
- Bagging and wrapping of purchases.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an HND / OND in Business Administration or a related field, or SSCE with 1 – 2 years of experience.
- The ideal candidate must have basic math skills.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other technology used in the checkout process.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven sales experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / Month.
