Job Title: General Manager, Business Services
Job Summary
- As part of its strategic growth and operational excellence agenda, the organisation is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its business services function.
- The General Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction across business development, human capital, and operational support functions.
- This role is pivotal in driving organisational growth, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to secure new contracts and expand existing client relationships.
- Oversee the implementation of service level standards and ensure operational efficiency across departments.
- Drive talent development, performance management, and organisational capability building.
- Ensure the availability of robust IT systems to support business operations.
- Provide strategic insights through market research and competitor analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or any related field.
- Master’s in Business Administration, or MSc in Management.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as: COREN, Nigerian Institute of Management.
- Minimum of 13 years’ experience across one or two management areas with at least one being Human Resources and at least 5 years in a managerial role.
