Job Title: Live-in Female Continental Chef

Overview

• A reputable private household in Ikoyi, Lagos is seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-In Female Chef with a strong background in Continental and Local cuisine.
• The ideal candidate must be Christian, aged 35 years and above, with a passion for healthy, creative, and clean cooking.
• This position requires a chef who is not only skilled in cooking but also takes initiative, is highly organized, health-conscious, and committed to delivering delicious meals with nutritional value using minimal oil, salt, and no seasoning cubes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals including local, continental, Mediterranean, Asian (Thai), and Lebanese cuisine.
• Develop and adapt nutritious, healthy recipes based on the household’s dietary preferences.
• Follow specific dietary instructions — low oil, low salt, no artificial seasoning cubes.
• Source and experiment with new recipes, drawing inspiration from diverse cuisines.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized kitchen at all times.
• Ensure proper food hygiene, storage, and inventory management.
• Work closely with the household to understand preferences, allergies, and dietary needs.

Requirements

• Female candidate, age 35+.
• Proven experience as a private household chef or professional cook.
• Strong background in both local Nigerian dishes and international cuisines, particularly:
  • Lebanese / Mediterranean meals
  • Asian dishes (Thai, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to cook tasty meals without artificial seasoning.
• Able to create or follow recipes confidently and independently.
• Must be clean, highly organized, and respectful of household space.
• Committed Christian with values that align with a respectful family environment.
• Willing and able to live in and adapt to a private household setting in Ikoyi.
