Job Title: Heavy Equipment Supervisor

Job Purpose

To ensure that all Equipment are functioning optimally for the growth of the company and to reduce maintenance cost and downtime.

The Job

Supervise all repairs work done as schedule by the line Managers.
Ensuring that proper housekeeping is maintained in the workshop.
Keeping track of the consumables used in the workshop and its availability.
Supervise multiple maintenance mechanics and auto electricians.
Keep records of maintenance and repairs work done in the workshop floor.
Tracking equipment quality throughout lifetime and recommend alternatives when needed.
Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
Ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime.
Monitor maintenance schedules and update the computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Qualifications / Experience

OND in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering / NABTEB / C&G / WAEC TECHNICAL.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

The Person Must:

Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Be able to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, equipment-driven environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
