Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform high-quality diagnostic tests that aid in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures, accuracy, and commitment to quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, stool, tissues, and other body fluids
• Analyze test results and report findings to physicians or other healthcare providers
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, cell counters, analyzers, and centrifuges
• Collect and process specimens following proper safety and handling procedures
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance testing and documentation
• Interpret and validate laboratory results, identifying abnormal findings and troubleshooting errors
• Maintain accurate records of all test results and laboratory activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
• Must be licensed and registered with the appropriate medical laboratory science council (e.g., MLSCN in Nigeria)
• Proven experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments, practices, and procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling specimens and results.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
