Job Title: Business Development Officer (Oil & Gas Sector)

About the Role

• A reputable company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking a highly driven and autonomous Business Development Officer to lead client acquisition and drive strategic partnerships within the upstream and midstream sectors.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the industry, a solid network of key decision-makers, and a proven ability to execute growth initiatives independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and key decision-makers
• Drive revenue growth through strategic sales and partnership initiatives
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare proposals, negotiate deals, and close contracts
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (advanced degrees are a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector
• Strong professional network within the upstream and/or midstream value chain
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Must be based in Port Harcourt.

Salary
N500,000 – N800,000 monthly.
