JOB TITLE: Structural Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Victoria Island, Lagos
JOB DETAILS:
- Developing detailed designs.
- Doing feasibility assessment and site inspections.
- Preparing and implementing project plans.
- Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
- Researching and providing estimates for projects.
- Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes and regulatpory compliance.
- Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
- Confidently liasing with clients and other professional suncontractors.
- Project management duties eg. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines, acquiring and compiling quotes, etc
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
- Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers.
- Create structural models by using computer-aided design software.
- Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence.
- Follow construction safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related Field.
- A minimum of 5 years post NYSC work experience.
- Must be COREN Certified.
- Age (27 – 40 years).
