Job Title: Product Marketing Officer

Location: Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, executing, and managing the marketing strategy and plans for all new products and features.
• Research our market’s consumer preferences then target and segment our customers effectively based on this research
• Create product marketing content that clearly and effectively communicates our value-proposition
• Oversee product launches, feature releases, and product positioning
• Work across several aspects of marketing – from branding and positioning to targeted outreach and strategy, Go-to-Market strategy, campaigns, advocacy, events and communication.
• Create and execute innovative strategies and marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and product adoption.
• Researching and brainstorming on product development and marketing
• Coordinating efforts to ensure that campaigns are completed.
• Adhering to time and financial restrictions.
• Tracking changes in consumer engagement following the roll-out of each marketing campaign.
• Compiling reports detailing the effects exerted by each campaign, and sharing these with clients.
• Oversee the marketing department, including but not limited to brand content, social media and campaign strategies, physical and digital marketing, and advertisement.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Sales, or similar.
• Prior experience as a marketing executive.
• A thorough understanding of contemporary trends in consumerism and an understanding of how to take a customer first approach.
• Excellent research and writing skills, particularly as these apply to marketing.
• Experience in product marketing for consumer products (financial products is a bonus)
• Understand how consumer facing products are built and are comfortable working with a technical team.

Remuneration
N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
