Job Title: Driver (Delivery)

Location: Ubahadara, Nempi, Oru West LGA, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time (In person)
Reporting to: Administrative Officer
Employer Industry: Production and Manufacturing
Working Week: Monday to Saturday 8:30 am – 4 pm
Slot: 5 Openings

 About Afobec: Afobec produces quality purified drinking sachets and bottled water. It supplies to customers wholesale. It’s customers include hotels, eateries, fast food, pop-shop resellers, and individual bulk buyers. At the heart of Afobec is a grassroots movement for empowerment to better the health and life of people in society.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE
• Ideally 2-5 years of experience working as a driver (experience in a water company is strongly preferred)
• A valid driver’s license

Skills Required:

• Excellent driving skills
• Exceptional knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
• Familiarity with modern electronics and GPS
• Strong knowledge of Imo state, Owerri, and Oru west roads and shortcuts
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and car functionalities.

Competences Required:

• Ability to manage time very well
• Empathy for customers
• Ability to work well independently
• Capable of working under high pressure
• Very detailed oriented
• A strong work ethic.
