Job Requirements

• B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering required, preferably in Drilling.
• A Master’s Degree in any of the relevant Engineering disciplines will be an added advantage.
• At least 8 years’ experience in offshore and onshore activities and various engineering work including at least 5 years of supervisory experience in drilling operations.
• Knowledge of the procedures, tools and techniques used in well drilling projects is required.
• Must have working knowledge of commonly used and relevant drilling / operations / production management software.
• Proficient in using Landmark’s software, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have knowledge to prepare work schedules and comprehensive drilling plans to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Must be familiar with statutory and regulatory requirements, with respect to health and safety and emergency procedures.
• Must have ability to plan and lead projects and be able to work under pressure and in teams.
• Must be capable to deliver quality, on budget and with speed.
• pressure, ready to travel at short notice and be willing to relocate if necessary.
