Scholarships & Financial Aid

The Dartmouth Institute is committed to assisting students with meeting the cost of their education. This year, 94% of students received a loan and/or scholarship from Dartmouth.

Scholarships

Scholarship awards from The Dartmouth Institute are made possible through the generosity of alumni, corporations, and nonprofit foundations. However, the school has limited scholarship funds and may not be able to fully meet each student’s needs. Recipients are generally notified at the time of their offer of admission.

We offer scholarships to U.S. permanent residents and international students based on merit. The Dartmouth Institute scholarships range anywhere from $1,000 up to half of tuition. Scholarship funds are equally dispersed across each term you are enrolled as a student.

Priority consideration is given to candidates who submit their application by the first round deadline on December 1. All candidates whose application is submitted by February 1 will be reviewed for a scholarship; there is no additional scholarship application required.

Our admissions and financial aid offices will review the application materials submitted by candidates for admission. In assessing merit, we consider a variety of factors, including exceptional academic performance, leadership, professional accomplishments, service, and ability to contribute to the diversity of the Dartmouth community.

Tuition and stipend scholarships are available for the PhD Program.

To search for outside scholarships, these resources are available: fastweb.comcollegeboard.org, and scholarships.com.
