Job Title: Senior Associate, HTS / KP Services
Activities
- The incumbent is expected to manage the implementation of HIV Testing, Prevention, and Risk Reduction services for both General & Key Populations and identify and work with Key Population Groups and CBOs to carry out outreaches and work closely with the state HTS Focal Person to ensure both General and the KPs have access to HTS and other prevention Services.
- The role will require supporting the implementation of sexual transmission prevention, HIV Testing Services, Positive Health Dignity & Prevention (PHDP), Safe & Ethical Index Testing Services, HIV Self Testing (HIVST), and Social Network Testing (SNT) among Key & General Population.
- The incumbent will also support the implementation of Prevention Programs on Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Condoms and Lubricants among Key & General Populations and working with the MOH and other institutions, will ensure that programs related to HIV Testing Services / Prevention services are adequately documented to facilitate the sharing of best practices and program development in line with agreed set objectives.
- Furthermore, the position involves supporting the organization in the maintenance of strong collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders of the project including community animators, CDC, MOHs, state institutions, and other partners working with the Key population.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Health / Management Science and any other field. Master’s in relevant field preferred
- At least 4 years of working knowledge of the National and PEPFAR/CDC HIV Prevention program priorities
- At least 4 years Post NYSC in HIV Programming preferably in the NGO context
- At least 4 years in Key Population Programming. • Commitment to and understanding of the organizational aims, values, and principles including rights-based approaches.
- Experience building capacity at individual and organizational levels
- Skilled in at least two or more of the following technical areas: strengthening service delivery programs, performance and quality improvement, psychosocial support, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in Key Population programming.
