Job Title: EGTL Console Operators (Gas Circuit, Refining & Utilities)

Activities

• Operates and monitors EGTL console to deliver daily shift plan, perform start-ups,and controlled shutdown of equipment in assigned area.
• Responds and manages plant process upsets and emergencies by applying requisite knowledge and relevant competencies. 
• Works with Technical team to ensure that different processes and control devices function as intended toward safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Develops and review operating and emergency procedures in assigned area.
• Reports abnormal conditions and equipment deviations within operating area and follow through to ensure optimum availability of process equipment.
• Conducts Operator routine duty and complete shift turnover notes.

Candidate Profile

• HND / BSc or Equivalent certificate in any Engineering discipline.
• Successfully completed specific unit or Area Formal Operator Training program(FOTP) and fully qualified (QRB) as a unit operator for specific plant technology in a refinery or similar complex process facility.

Experience:

• At least 5 years qualified field operator experience in a refinery or similar complex process facility is required.

Expertise:

• Knowledgeable in process safety hazards, assesses process safety risks, and develops mitigation strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand the importance of feedback in communication.
