Job Title: Control System Specialist
Activities
- Optimizes operational equipment such as compressors, pumps, FPSO tank related work, Delivery of work group goals, objectives and activities, understanding the operational workings of equipment, maintenance activities and processes to ensure seamless operations and minimal down time of critical equipment.
- Identifying and resolving operational and technical problems involvingequipment control systems including instrumentation devices, control loops and process logic.
- Safely executingroutine/corrective maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain concise equipment records such as calibrations, set points and repair history within the System of Record.
- Able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – JDE Edwards E1 knowledge is desirable.
Candidate Profile
- BSc / HND (Second Class Honours, Upper Division/Upper Credit) in Engineering.
- Successfully completed training as acontrol systems engineer/specialist within the Oil and Gas or petrochemical industry.
- Completed in depth equipment specific training in instrument/controls control systems e.g.Yokogawa/Honeywell/Allen-Bradleyandserved in Controls Technician/Engineer,Control systems Field Service Rep. (FSR) roles.
- Knowledge and application of industry standards such as IEEE, NEC, IEC, etc.
Experience:
- 5 -15 years relevant experience post-graduation in heavy industry environment (Oil and gas, refining, chemical plants, pulp/paper plants, etc.).
