Job Title: Asset and Venture Manager

Activities

• Facilitate analysis and documentation to guide investment decision for new developments.
• Planning and coordinating all activities in project life cycle for Akpo, Egina and Preowei.
• Ensure that the operator’s project scope is fit-for-purpose and adheres to the project budget, quality and schedule.
• Follow up on the project compliance of codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of offshore production facilities.
• Liaise with government agencies as necessary regarding required licenses and procurement approvals.
• Monitor project execution progress and report any potential schedule impact.
• Ensure all applicable legal requirements are observed.
• Monitor key performance indicators on projects and follow up on any issues.
• Liaise with the operator to evaluate, organize and prioritize tasks with the overall project schedule and report to management periodically.
• Provide project status to management and escalate issues as necessary.
• Monitor the status of regulation changes in the oil and gas industry.
• Review project information released to third parties for research or educational purposes.
• Manage project communications with CNOOC Research Center, CNOOC International and with operator.
• Attend and facilitate CNOOC attendance of the following meetings

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business / Management / Engineering fields.
• Minimum of 10 years working experience, 5 years work experience in Oil industry, previous experience on International Oil & Gas JV is preferred.  
• Ability to analyze numerical and graphical data.
