Job Title: Director, Design System Engineer

Activities

• oversee the department responsible for the planning and engineering of the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Provide leadership to the team and ensure that the systems infrastructure requirements of the project are met. 
• Design the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, establishing networking rules for cybersecurity and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues.
• Ensure that hardware and /or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the Company.
• Evaluate, design and develop existing report and documents for the performance of the systems. 
• Manage a departmental sub-function with a broader departmental function.
• Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional system infrastructure.
• Train team on data security, troubleshooting processes and related skills
• Oversee the creation, installation and support for computing systems

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 10 years of managerial experience
• Candidates must be able to develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time.
• Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback is an important aspect of this position.
• Both oral and written communication skills are vital to relaying important information, training new staff members and communicating about solutions to complex problems.
• Deep knowledge of the managing sub-functions and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
• Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
