Job Title: Principal Construction Expert

Activities

• Review construction information including proposals/Plan/PO / Scope of Work, etc.  to determine time frame, funding, risks and opportunities, etc. 
• Determine and prepare Construction and Commissioning procedures to perform and control the activities.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Enable the safe and efficient handover from Mechanical Completion to Testing and Commissioning with Operations.
• Establish satisfactory input for each discipline into the control system.
• Review and define the testing and commissioning scope, planning and man-hour estimates required to complete the scope of work.
• Monitor and on acceptance execute outstanding punch list items.
• Carry out all the commissioning activities for F&G discipline by directing the efforts of the technicians and complete the Commissioning check sheets and populate the System Completion database that is used on the project
• Perform lessons learnt with all project stakeholders and keep records. 

Candidate Profile

• An engineering degree with 10 years direct “hands on” experience in Construction,  operations, Maintenance and systems completion for oil and gas assets. 
• Knowledge of computerized automated Data Management Systems
• Experience in Procedure Writing and Project Planning.
• Experience in executing construction projects for Oil and Gas industry. 
• Knowledge and experience of Off-Shore construction, operations and production systems is mandatory.
• Must also possess an ability to work in harsh and inclement conditions.
