Job Title: Communications and Corporate Partnership Manager
Activities
- Leading all Salpha’s communication activities and dissemination by setting up and implementing communication and dissemination plans to promote specific projects to support our partners and increase Salpha’s visibility
- Building and maintaining the good reputation and relationships with external partners, stakeholders and other organizations.
- Create and foster collaboration with relevant and key partners to deliver on the company’s mandate of providing energy solutions.
- Unlock partnerships such as shopping malls, small and medium businesses and outlet arrangement to drive sales and distribution of key product lines.
- Oversee the development of a rich content library including but not limited to factsheets, videos, personal stories, statistics, infographics, images, corporate e-newsletters, and other materials for use in both online and offline communications ensuring that all content is aligned to the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Ensure branding, brand guidelines and consistent tone and messaging are embedded throughout Salpha’s marketing communications activities and external communications, to continue building national brand awareness.
- Managing copyediting, design, layout, and printing for all print and digital, internal, and external communications and ensuring all guides are within Salpha’s guidelines.
- Ensure all print and digital publications are delivered to deadline and consistent in quality.
- Ensure that marketing and public relations output is accurate, of a high standard and reflects organizational priorities and campaign objectives
- Monitor current events and trends, identify media opportunities and act upon them to obtain maximum coverage and share of voice for the organization.
- Contribute to the development, back-end management/support and utilization of the organization’s websites and social media accounts.
- Organize media interviews, briefing and/or accompanying interviewees as appropriate
- Manage and maintain the organization’s relationships with key journalists, media outlets and news agencies and relevant public relations stakeholders.
- Produce press releases and be responsible for their distribution.
- Ensure consistency in all communications to support brand values.
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day management of the organization’s media function i.e. media monitoring, handling of media enquiries, developing and maintaining media relations etc.
- Oversee maintenance and consistent update of the website and digital platforms.
- Manage the brand’s representation in events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Manage relationships with different stakeholder groups, including the board and panel of advisors to ensure the favourable brand perception.
- Implement an effective crisis management plan to mitigate potential risks and threats to the brand.
- Develop, implement and drive organisation-wide communications strategy, including development of KPIs for conventional and digital communications, social media, and website.
- Work with internal and external partners to execute the approved communications strategy
- Leading the communications team to conceptualize and implement communication and dissemination strategies and campaigns.
- Ensure the organization receives the strategic and tactical communications advice and support required around key initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or post graduate Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
- 10 years relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with leadership responsibilities and the ability to demonstrate a portfolio.
- Proven experience managing target audience content.
- Strong Knowledge of Communication Strategy, Practices and Techniques.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere…), and social media platforms.
