Job Title: Outboard Mechanic

Job Description

• We are seeking to engage an experienced Outboard Engine Mechanic. Candidates are responsible to identify, diagnose and repair outboard engines 

Qualification

• The Candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience working as a mechanic.
• The candidate must possess mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or its equivalent) experience with Yamaha outboards is a huge advantage.

Key Requirements Includes:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to test and repair boat engines Inboard-Outboard for service/warranty purposes.
• Replace, remove, and install outboard systems and components.
• Conduct thorough assessment prior to starting a job including acknowledging the budgeted time vs actual time.
• Ability to source/research parts needed or task.
• Overall knowledge of marine systems including electrical, plumbing & water systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install vessel systems and components including but not limited to electrical, electronics, plumbing & water systems (fresh, salt, and waste), gas and diesel engines a plus.
