Job Title: Central Control Room Operator
Position Summary:
The Central Control Room Operator plays a critical role in overseeing the operational processes within the cement production facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control production processes from the Central Control Room (CCR) to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Coordinate with Shift Coordinators and communicate necessary information to support the production team effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of operational data and report any anomalies or issues.
- Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Support the implementation of approved production plans and targets, ensuring they are met during shifts.
- Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment operation and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and operational staff on process improvements and optimizations.
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency response and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff and operators as needed.
- Adhere to environmental management processes and sustainability practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a control room or production environment, preferably in the cement industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment used in cement manufacturing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using control systems and related technology.
