Job Title: Marine Engineer
Activities
- Operate and maintain marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and electrical systems.
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and modifications to vessel engines and systems.
- Conduct engine performance monitoring and analysis to optimize efficiency and identify potential issues.
- Supervise engine room operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant marine regulations and classification society requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as a Marine Engineer Officer.
- Marine Engineer Officer Class 2 certification (or higher) is required.
- Extensive knowledge of marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery.
