Job Title: Firsthand Operator
Activities
- Take the scrap charge as per the supervisor’s instruction.
- During the process do the slag off in the appropriate time.
- After every scrap charge ensure scrap pressing to improve the melting process.
- As and when Melter man required to take the sample.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and wearing PPE.n.
Qualifications and Requirement
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- 3 – 5 years of work experience.
- Proven experience as a Firsthand Operator in a steel manufacturing company or related industries.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
