Job Summary:

The Chief General Manager of Production is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production operations within Dangote Cement Group. This role includes the planning, coordination, and control of efficient production processes to enhance output while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage the production schedule to meet company targets and customer demands.
• Implement production best practices and oversee process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing production team.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the production budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Compile and analyze production reports for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BSc/B Eng. in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 30 years of relevant experience in production management.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and project management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
